The Ankh generally represents physical and eternal life. The right eye is the "eye of ra" and represents the sun, the left eye is the "eye of thoth" and represents the moon. Like the "ying and the yang" together they represent the same concept with the "whole of the universe". Together, it is said they represent the combined, transcendent power of Horus.
