In september, 2010 I was diagnosed with a tumor on my kidney.soon after I had to have the kidney removed. The tumor was found to be cancerous.I knew of the breast cancer awareness campaign but could find nothing related to kidney cancer so I came up with the concept of designing a kidney cancer tattoo for me to have. I enlisted the help of my friend Doug Wright to put my ideas into a viewable format and then had my tattoo artist Rudy Rivera at "The Parlor" in Manteca,Calif. do his magic !
