This was my second tattoo... it was a cover up done by Sean Meraw who just opened up his own parlour out in Ontario...he did it during a guest spot at Ghost Town Tattoo in Okotoks, AB. I got the gryphon partially because it is on family crests on both sides of my family, and partially because I like the mythology surrounding the gryphon. The acorn symbolizes my potential, and the gryphon protects that treasure.
