This is the first tattoo I ever had carved into me, as well as being the very first tattoo my good friend Dave Phelps out of Vancouver, Canada ever carved into someone. Since I trusted my co-workers natural artistic abilities whole heartedly, he started work on me in a friends condo, learning as he went. It covers my whole left side, extending well onto my ribs and stomach. 30+ hours. Fuck. How hardcore is that? 6 years later he is a monster of the craft, getting better everyday.

	I like this piece a lot. There are a few technical issues here and there, but overall you can tell that this guy is first an artist and learning to tattoo, that is key. Well done, and good instincts on your part.
