This tattoo I had done on a vacation to Phi Phi Island in Thailand. It's my own design and was planned for some time. It was done in traditional Thai-style with bambooneedles, which was quite an experience. It was very different from getting tattooed with a machine, since it's a two guy job. One to tattoo you, and one to stretch your skin the entire time. Overall I'm very happy with the result, and plan to go back for more and get it finished. Please let me know what you guys think. Ideas are welcome.

	oh yeah and as he said much more time consuming...but yeah hurts less than a tattoo gun...doesn't go as deep...

	i live in phuket phi phi is very nice..but i have seen many bamboo tattoos they don't go as deep, the ink fades bad and its always segmented...that's not all bamboo..machine is superior wouldnt get bamboo unless a buddhist or a muay thai fighter...chok dee

	Come on. This tattoo was done over 4 sittings. One for the sun. Two for the bottom tribal maybe the top also. Three for grey shading. Finally the color. A traditional machine was used for the outlining. It's a hodgepodge of crap.

	That is fuggen sick man. Awesome name for the tat 2. How long after the tat was done did you take the pic? Definitely need some colour at the bottom

	I will definetely get some colour at he bottom, but haven´t thought of a design yet. I can only recommend getting tattoed with bamboo. It´s a longer process but very thorough and clean. Quite an experience. Check out the other pic for work in progress.
