Second tattoo on Oct. 19th (obviously still healing) to cover up a star. My best friend Steve was killed in Iraq a day after my birthday. I had gotten to talk to him for the first time through the deployment about a week before he died. My husband is deployed right now so it's also a memorial for our friends that have been killed, and a way for me to personally give thanks and remembrance to all those who have lost someone in the war or have loved ones in combat
