This is my third tattoo and actually a cover up of my first tattoo as well. I love day lilies and had about 25 varieties in the garden at my last house. Shannon Schober from Vitality Tattoo in Asheville, NC did it and he is amazing. I just sent him a photo of my old tat (a leaf) and told him I wanted a day lily and the rest is history. He just put out a book of his work and my tat is in there (page 1). We did it in one sitting and it took 6 hours.
