This was my second tattoo, covering up my first tattoo that I picked off a wall, and lied about my age to get when I was 16. The Jersey Devil, is folklore from near where I grew up (Atlantic City Native).
People often ask why I don't get the devil colored to make him stand out, but the Jersey Devil lurks in the woods of the Pine Barrens, and nobody really sees him. It's done to look like turn of the century charcoal art.
The cover up was done by Randy Fox of Panama Fox Tattoo in Panama City FL.
