It's on my lower back. It's from a piece of art called 'Survival' by Jenny Holzer. I got it because she's my favourite artist and I think it's true.
The tattoo was not really to say that men don't protect you, more that it's unfair to expect it of them. It is a little out of context but I chose to keep the original phrasing because otherwise, to me, it would mean nothing. |
