Im 18 and this is my first tattoo. Ludovicus is the latin origin for my name, Lewis. It translates into 'Famous Warrior', hence why i thought a sword would go well with it. Took two 3 hour sessions, one session for the outlining and coloring the letters, second session for shading and coloring the sword. I had it done at Sin Alley Tattoos in Pawtucket RI by Derek Malone. Thinking of adding to make it really be a full back, so any ideas or comments are encouraged.
