It started out as crossed cannons in the background with an anchor over them and mermaids holding swords on either side of the anchor. The artist (Boe from Southernmost Ink in Key West, Fl) had an idea about having smoke from the cannons turn into ghost skulls. I decided I liked the idea of the smoke, so Boe free-handed all the smoke and skulls. 8 hours total. Let me know what you think!
